Details
The plate is a beautiful cobalt blue color with enameled gold roses. The plate is artist signed J.H. Bacon and titled Hamlet and Ophelia. Overall condition is very good with a couple of light scratches, the back of the plate has some light rust around the hanger holes. There is an 1/8" diameter rust spot on the back of the plate and looks to be an area that did not get glazed during the firing process. Overall dimensions are 9 7/8" diameter x 1 1/2" tall.This would make an important addition to a collection of Royal Vienna related porcelain.
